Coleg Powys along with 12 high schools, 2 special schools and 4 training providers all based in Powys have recently been involved in the creation of an epowys partnership which was funded by the Department for Education, Lifelong Learning, and Skills (DELLS).

The www.epowys.net portal provides the gateway to each partners individual Moodle installation. Moodle is a software package designed using sound pedagogical principles, to help educators create effective online learning communities and courses.

All the partners in this project are developing online courses in this Virtual Learning Environment these include a number of interactive learning activities which compliment the more traditional electronic resources.
